Pacing and Time Commitment
Elementary students and learning guides are provided with a weekly pacing schedule in the learning portal to help keep them on track. Students may choose to pace ahead of the weekly schedule if they have time and are comfortable moving ahead in their lessons.

Students spend an average of 60 minutes each for math and English language arts lessons and 30 minutes each on science and social studies.

Parent Involvement and Communication
Because elementary learners are not as independent as secondary learners, it’s critical that they have a family learning guide—someone in the home who can help them understand daily lessons and navigate the portal.

Learning guides and students will have 24/7 access to the student information system to view progress.
